Assessing wind energy development in Uganda: Opportunities and challenges

In this paper, we utilize a systematic review to assess opportunities and challenges in wind energy development Uganda. Apart from being an environmentally friendly renewable resource, of could boosts economic growth creates jobs. For Uganda, rising demand, need reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increasing electricity access rural areas, emerge as rational invest energy. The main obstacles Uganda are insufficient resource data, high initial investment cost, inadequate research development, weak infrastructure, unsupportive policies. policy, comprehensive assessment, infrastructure investment, financial de-risking, capacity building, deliberate power policy incentives accelerate consequently contribute the country’s security.
